Northwest Access Exchange Donors
NWAX currently operates on a completely volunteer basis and building the new non-profit entity has been a community effort involving hundreds of hours of donated labor plus significant donations of equipment + colocation services.

- Pittock - Ongoing donation of one cabinet including power and the tie-cables to the MMR, provided meeting space for the annual meeting
- LightPoint - Donated a 1/3rd cabinet of colo + power and transit for extension switch, RouteViews, and Packet Clearing House (i.e. the root servers) as well as the fiber to their facility
- Easystreet - Ongoing donation of colocation space for extension switch, donated additional 1310nm 10g optics
- ViaWest - Ongoing donation of colocation space for extension switch
- NocTel - Ongoing donation of PBX hosting for NWAX - this is what provides the NOC phone number
- Dyn - Ongoing donation of DNS hosting services for our forward lookup domains and reverse DNS domains for the fabric IP's
- ClackamasESD - Ongoing donation Internet connectivity for management of the fabric and the portal web sit
- he.net - Donated 3x additional 10g 1310nm SFP+ optics
- iovation - Donated 4x Dell R410's to replace the Lenovo's and Sun's
- Brian Thompson - Huge amount of time spent to setup IXP Manager, Engineering support, working on Route Servers

2013
- Pittock - Donated a cabinet, electrical power, and a brand new 144ct SMF tie-cable to the meet-me-room for NWAX to move over onto - provided assistance moving all cross-connects to new panel/cabinet, provided conference room for annual meeting
- Juniper - Donated an EX4500 and all of the pieces necessary to stack it with the existing EX4500 (we just had to pay for maintenance) - Structured Communications donated their time to push the purchase order
- Opengear - Donated an IM4200 16 port serial console for remote out of band serial console access
- OHSU/PSU - Paid for the legal fees to create the new organization, handed over all relevant NWAX assets including one EX4500, the domain names, the IP space, optics, fiber jumpers, all remaining NWAX account cash, and man-hours to make the transition successful
- NetFlix - Donated two EX4550's including six 10 gigabit 1310nm optics
- ClackamasESD - Donated Internet connectivity for management of the fabric and the portal web site
- iovation - Donated 2x Cisco 4948 Switches (in-band and out-of-band management), 2x Lenovo servers for the portal web site and other monitoring, 2x Sun X4100 servers, 2x 30a 208v PDU's
- NocTel - Donated PBX hosting for NWAX - this is what provides the NOC phone number
- Dyn - Donated DNS hosting services for our forward lookup domains and reverse DNS domains for the fabric IP's
- Brian Thompson - Provided engineering support for the migration to the new cabinet, build of Lenovo servers VMWare Hosts, monitoring servers
- Eddie Gregory - Provided engineering support for the migration to the new cabinet including setting up the serial console device
